Growthexpect growthAs a relatively young company, we remember clearly what it was like in the beginning and we look forward to helping you get started. The Nexus Property Management model is based on starting out small as you master essential tasks and services and then expanding gradually to ensure efficiency and greater value for our clients. After receiving training and learning our policies and procedures, you will be ready to operate a profitable company that will only scale up in size when you’re ready to expand. In this way we ensure that we are always dedicated to the clients we have and we refrain from biting off more than we can chew.

As you gain experience, demand for Nexus’ services will grow steadily and it is at that time (and no sooner) that the company will need to expand. It is typical for a successful Nexus franchise to consist of just two people for the first several months. This allows you to truly master your craft without being overwhelmed. In time, you can add team members that will help add value to your franchise. A common model for success would include the franchise owner starting out as the leasing agent while also overseeing sales, management, and coordinating independent contractors for general maintenance. After some initial growth, a separate leasing agent may be hired to address that branch of the operation so the owner can focus on the growing demands of his or her other responsibilities. A maintenance director could later be hired and from there the franchise could explore performing some maintenance with an in-house team which will then continue to grow as tasks are perfected and new tasks are taken on.

I've been working for an IT service company for 8 years. So it's safe for me to say I have a bit understanding of customer frustration when looking for a trusted service provider who follows through with their commitments and is able to deliver the ultimate customer experience. I came across Nexus on Angies' List when searching for help to manage a single family property. And I would say it's a great pleasure to work with them. My experience has been excellent from start. I had the chances to work with Nick, Greg, and Dan. I was impressed with how well they paid attention to details and how promptly they addressed any concerns that arose, in addition to their professionalism and friendliness. I couldn't resist complimenting Nexus on effectively utilizing technology to interact with customers and communicate up-to-date information. The customer portal is well laid out and easy to use. I had Nexus for the entire time I owned a 4 unit in Providence. During this time, in the winter of 2017 the water pipe froze and damaged the entire property. Greg and his team at Nexus was quick to respond to the emergency and was able to help me through the process. After everything was fixed, Nexus found new, stable tenants for me. I had no issues communicating with Nexus on their portal and always gotten responses within the day. I also really like how transparent they are with the money disbursement. You get to see immediately when a tenant has paid and the money will hit your bank account days after. And if a tenant doesn't pay on time, fees and notices gets sent automatically and you see all of that too.
