Technology and efficiency go hand-in-hand...when you use that technology effectively and continually update best practices. We utilize technology in all three facets of the Nexus model: leasing, maintenance, and management. Through the use of proprietary software we communicate efficiently with property owners, tenants, and members of our Nexus team. Most of our payments and collections are done electronically as well. We utilize electronic communication to ensure consistency and accountability. We’ve also created our very own Nexus Backoffice software to handle payroll, billing, and various aspects of record keeping and accounting that the typical proprietary software can not handle. In our experience, we’ve found that effective use of technology saves us time and allows us to maximize our productivity while also simplifying the management and renting process for our clients.
During company meetings we have come to the conclusion more than once that if we were not a property management company, we would very likely be in the technology business. Instead, we pride ourselves on applying and improving upon the available technology to continue to dominate the regions in which we manage property.
